The CMS testing site was upgraded to use the latest version of CMS Made Simple. There are some handy new tools with this latest release.

Welcome

Welcome to my example Content Management System website. This site is designed to show off the capabilities of a site built with CMS Made Simple, my preferred content management system.

What does a CMS do?
A CMS allows a user with no technical expertise to update, maintain, and add content to their website using familiar and intuitive tools.

What are some of the features?
I've highlighted some of the more popular features including news alerts, photo galleries, blogs, forums, guestbooks, calendars, and web forms on this website. There are additional features to allow for multimedia, page ratings, maps, and more. Some of these features are automatically installed as part of the CMS while others must be added afterwards. Installing and configuring an extra feature typically takes less than an hour.

What are the design options?
Design options are virtual everything using CMS. The system integrates very well into nearly any design layout you could imagine. Some, but not all, of the sites in my design portfolio use CMS, so please feel free to take a look.

How can I learn more?
If you'd like to learn more about CMS or even play around with some of the features yourself, please contact me and I will send you a temporary username/password to login and make some simple edits. I can also review information with you over the phone, through email, or in a meeting.
